From May 2-3, four missionaries went on mission to Collcaqui in the mountains of Peru. If you remember, this is a continuation of the mission that was begun March 29-April 5. This is good news for the villagers who eagerly await the missionaries.

The object of this short, humble mission is to celebrate the sacraments and begin to prepare 20 children to receive the sacrament of baptism on June 13. Please pray for them and for all the people of these poor villages who suffer so much.

Father Carlos, msp reminds us:  “Every time that I have the chance to visit a distant village in the mountains, I realize how much the people need God; but, unfortunately, there are few who give their lives to the service of the Gospel.” But how can they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how can they believe in him of whom they have not heard? (Rom. 10:14).
