On June 7-14 we made a humble mission to the poor in the mountains. Father Carlos Alberto Jiménez (Colombian) was in charge and was accompanied by three young men, Brother Pablo (Mexican) and Brothers Miguel Ángel and Luis Espinoza (Peruvians).

We pray to God that it is He who will bear fruit in the humble work of the missionaries. Within the beautiful charism of the Missionary Servants of the Poor, Father Giovanni always tells us about the importance of a “silent and humble evangelization.” What does it mean? In a few words it means an evangelization saturated with prayer, sacrifice, and a clear awareness that God is the protagonist of the mission and not we, His poor instruments.

We ask that you don’t stop praying hard for the Gospel to be preached to the ends of the earth.
