A group of Missionary Servants of the Poor Sisters left for a mission to Huarqui in the district of Lamay in the High Cordillera over 14,000 feet above sea level. The Sisters’ apostolate there is to make home visits. We try to avoid crowding people though that is difficult since everyone wants to participate in the prayers and catechesis. We commend to your prayers this group of missionaries that the Lord may protect them and allow them to return home safely.

It is beautiful to see how the people continue to have a great thirst for God and how, being a missionary, it is possible to bring them to the only Source that may quench that thirst.
