On May 21, by the grace and mercy of God, we were able again to help many poor people who would not otherwise make it to the end of the month. About 7.5 tons of food has been distributed. It is a real miracle which God works among the poor.

When Mother Teresa was asked if she had witnessed a miracle, she responded, “I see a miracle every day in the soup kitchens we staff.” Well, we Missionary Servants of the Poor could say the same thing. It’s a real miracle that every day so many families can eat in our soup kitchens and that in the middle of this pandemic we can distribute food to the many people who suffer.

Even so, we are conscious that material bread is nothing without the Spiritual Bread that is Christ. Our principal mission is to bring people to Jesus.
