A missionary group of Sisters has returned home after a few days of mission work in the department of Apurímac.
On Monday afternoon they went to the town of Ccoya-Occopata, on Tuesday and Wednesday they went on a mission to the town of Sorcca, and on Thursday and Friday to the town of Huanchulla.
The day went more or less like this: In the mornings there was paraliturgy and personal prayer, and then they began visiting families house-by-house or in their fields of work with the aim of sharing the Word of God, listening to their needs, and praying with them. The themes of these days were the importance and origin of the Holy Rosary and the works of mercy, for which a play was presented on “The Good Samaritan.”
These are busy days in which one must make the most of every minute among the people.
"Evangelizing is the greatest and noblest service that we Christians can perform as an expression of our love for all men for whom Christ gave His life."
