It has been a while since we’ve updated you on how our little work among the poor is going with our orphans and school. During the pandemic the Brothers and Priests that serve the abandoned children never stopped working with them, caring for them, protecting them, teaching them to pray and to do their lessons, etc.

Classes at the Francisco and Jacinta Marto School continued virtually. The problem was that, as our students are very poor, most don’t have internet nor adequate devices to follow their classes. Sometimes they are able to get together $3 to recharge their telephone and to be able to receive and send their homework through WhatsApp. It’s very complicated since they don’t have the means.

We Missionary Servants of the Poor are very aware that we don’t serve many children but only One Child, the Child Jesus Who lives in the hearts of each of these poor and abandoned children.
